A. The time the unit runs before requiring a refill depends on the humidity in the room and the settings you require. We have run this unit on auto setting, for 8 hours a day for eight days before the auto shut-off cuts in. This model will comfortably humidify a large lounge, bedroom or office.
A. Our humidifiers are Ultrasonic and as such are not really cool or warm. They output millions of tiny droplets at room temperature (or whatever the temperature of the water is in the 4.5 litre tank). Ultrasonic humidifiers are the most efficient type of home humidifier.
